Councillors Natalia and Frank Letch have launched a petition to get the A377 at Copplestone resurfaced by Devon County Council
"At times being a Councillor can feel a little like banging your head against a brick wall," said Devon County, and Mid Devon, Councillor Frank Letch. "A lot of time seems to be needed to get the very smallest change. It certainly seemed that way with the long running saga of getting the Station Road junction in Bow repaired. All too often bureaucracies are focussed on not accepting blame rather than delivering meaningful change. This was definitley the case in Bow.
"I'm pleased to say, however, that with the support of local residents we did finally get the road surface in Bow repaired. I'd like to thank all those who supported me and for their confidence we could make things better.
"And one of the really nice things about being a Councillor is that people do write and express their appreciation. It make it all worthwhile. I'd like to put my thanks to them on record."
