Liberal Democrats will:

• Review the use of all ‘cost-plus (profit)’ contracts to ensure money is spent on services not boosting the profits of American big-business.

• Engage with local District Councils to ensure buying goods and services together delivers cost savings.

• Ensure strict control of expenditure so that staff expenses are not paid without receipts, and that no-one is paid after they have stopped working for the council!
