Cllr. Sally Morgan presents cheque to Tony Beard of Widecombe Local History Group

Devon County Councillor Sally Morgan presented a cheque for £300 to the Widecombe History Group recently. The money is to be used to explore the possibility of a permanent home for the History Group and it's artifacts, maps and resources that have been collected and donated over the years, with the hope of creating a visitors centre that will be open to the public.

Cllr Morgan said " The History Group does a fantastic job in collecting and preserving items and knowledge linked with the history of Widecombe and its surrounds. I was pleased to be able to support them."
