Sally goes back to school

Cllr Sally Morgan, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Central Devon, joined local artist Bridget Arnold at St. Catherine's School in Heathfield to celebrate the installation of a mosaic that had been produced by the children of the school.

Cllr. Morgan said, "I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work that was produced by the children. The mosaic is beautiful and really brightens up a dull corner of the playground. Thanks must go to Bridget and her team of artists for their help in producing the mosaic and for the time they spent with the children.

"I also enjoyed meeting the children, many of whom I taught before I became a councillor."

Another mosaic was also produced and is due to be displayed at the school. The project is part of the 'Percent for Art Project' and the tiles were donated by British Ceramic Tile based at Heathfield.
